Urban Decay Primer Potion – second life!

Primer Potion is an amazing product! Unfortunately it costs £12 which to me is a lot of money for an eyeshadow primer. When mine was nearly finished and there was hardly anything coming out of the bottle, I started thinking... There must be some more product in those curves...

I cut the bottle in half and what I saw was beyond my expectations!

I imagined I would get few more uses out of these leftovers. Instead I managed to scoop out enough product to fill up two jars! Majority of the 10ml that you are getting originally in the bottle is impossible to get out before cutting it in half.

I found this picture on google where someone cut it in the fattest part. You can see the wand only goes thru the middle of the bottle and rest of it is being wasted.

Verdict? Packagi
ng may be cute but probably the least practical I have ever seen!

Be Gone Blackheads!

There are a lot of products on the market that claim blackhead removing power and I have tried majority of them. Some of those products don’t do anything. Some of them cleanse the skin a little bit deeper but don’t actually remove those stubborn blackheads.

After reading praising reviews about Avene TriAcneal cream, I decided to tackle my blackheads once again.
TriAcneal is improved version of well-known Diacneal from Avene and its main task is to control acne and blemishes. But this isn’t the only asse
t of this ‘magic in a tube’. The eflectiose limits the inflow of mediators responsible for the cutaneous hyperreactivity.
Glycolic acid helps to eliminate skin imperfections, through its effect peels and smooths the skin surface. And finally soothing and anti-irri
tant properties of Avene Thermal Spring Water help to reduce redness.

I never had any major acne problems but wanted to see if TriAcneal will sort out my t-zone imperfections. I’ve been using it for 3 days now and I can already see improvements. I just can’t believe how fast and effective this cream is! Blackhea
ds and red marks are starting to disappear!
In some cases after using TriAcneal quantity of blemishes can double and dryness/flaking will occur. This didn’t happen to me as of yet but m
ost reviewers promise it’s just temporary. At £18.50 (inc. Delivery) 30ml seems pricey but a little goes a long way. Plus I don’t think we mind paying extra for a product that works so well!

TriAcneal needs to be applied in the evening to perfectly towel-dried skin on the areas of the face with spots, blackheads and scars. In the morning I recommend washing your face using gentle cleanser and applying light moisturizer with SPF. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant daily moisturizer SPF 15 (ebay £15.50 including delivery for 120ml).

Let me know if you were so pleasantly surprised with TriAcneal effect or if it didn’t work for you at all. I will update you all on how it performs after using it a bit longer.

Thank you for reading and have a lovely weekend my beauty addicts.
